Works on paper are made often in reaction to the architecture of a given space, paintings are expansive (in relation to all over field painting) and are made using print & collage in various combinations – my interest lay as much in the discards as the careful image: Recent artworks have been coupled with kinetic display. A design is arrived at through a process of replication and obliteration; images are mostly non-objective but sometimes use recognizable appropriated imagery. Artworks inhabit a space and behave in a manner that may suggest a functionality or purpose other than that of the traditional canvas format.
